These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of mytinyminds.co.uk ("the Platform"), operated by TinyMinds ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. About TinyMinds

TinyMinds is an online directory that connects families with childcare providers including childminders, nurseries, preschools, after-school clubs, and holiday clubs in the United Kingdom. We are a directory platform only. We do not employ, endorse, verify, or take responsibility for any childcare provider listed on the Platform.

2. Important Disclaimer

TinyMinds is a directory service only. We do not provide childcare services. We do not verify, endorse, or guarantee the accuracy of any information provided by childcare providers. We do not conduct background checks, DBS checks, or Ofsted verification on providers. Any Ofsted ratings or DBS information displayed is self-reported by providers. Parents and guardians are solely responsible for conducting their own due diligence before engaging any childcare provider found through our Platform. We strongly recommend independently verifying all provider credentials, Ofsted registration, and DBS checks directly with the provider and relevant authorities before making any childcare arrangements.

3. No Liability for Childcare Services

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TinyMinds shall not be liable for: any harm, injury, loss, or damage arising from the use of any childcare provider found through the Platform; the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any provider listing; any interactions, agreements, or disputes between parents and childcare providers; any failure by a provider to hold valid Ofsted registration, DBS certificates, or appropriate qualifications; or any loss of data, revenue, or indirect or consequential damages.

4. Provider Responsibilities

Childcare providers who list on TinyMinds warrant that: all information provided is accurate, complete, and up to date; they hold all required registrations, qualifications, and insurance required by UK law; they comply with all applicable Ofsted requirements; they will promptly update their listing if any information changes; and they will not use the Platform for any unlawful purpose.

5. Parent Responsibilities

Parents and guardians using TinyMinds acknowledge that: TinyMinds is a directory only and does not vet providers; they are solely responsible for verifying provider credentials before making childcare arrangements; they should check Ofsted registration at ofsted.gov.uk; they should request and verify DBS certificates directly from providers; and TinyMinds is not a party to any agreement made between a parent and a provider.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

Provider subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. You may cancel at any time from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice.

7. Acceptable Use

You must not use the Platform to: post false, misleading, or fraudulent information; impersonate any person or organisation; harass, abuse, or harm others; transmit spam or unsolicited communications; attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Platform; or engage in any activity that violates UK law.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform, excluding user-submitted content, is owned by TinyMinds and protected by UK copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account at our discretion, including for breach of these Terms, providing false information, or any conduct we deem harmful to users or the Platform.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify registered users of material changes by email.
